General Beach Description
Waterfoot Beach is a popular tourist destination located on the Causeway Coastal Route on the eastern coast of Northern Ireland, at the foot of Glenariff Glen. Waterfoot Beach is approximately 1 km in length and comprised entirely of sand. The bathing area is backed by dunes which run the length of the beach and the village of Waterfoot is at the northern end of the beach. There are no restrictions on swimming and there are no lifeguards on duty at anytime. Car parking and toilets are located in the village.
